What is an annotation guide?

What is it?

An annotation guide gives the instructions to label data consistently: the list of labels, the definition of each one and annotated examples. Two people following the same guide should reach the same result.

When to use it

  • Build a dataset by hand, alone or as a team.
  • Have several people annotate data.
  • Document how an existing dataset was labelled.

Page fields
